Sysops & Community
Every SPITFIRE board reflected an operator’s choices: its name, ANSI screens, message areas, doors, file libraries, rules and tone. The software provided the foundation, but Sysops and callers made each system a distinct place.
The Keeping in Touch newsletters preserve featured Sysops, newly registered boards and the texture of that support community. As additional directories, recollections and board histories are identified, this section will connect those names and systems with their surviving records.
